IAP collects and uses personal information to operate membership services, training registrations, event registrations, certificates, verification tools, contact forms, payments, support messages, and member portal access.
Information may include identity details, contact details, academic and professional documents, membership applications, payment records, course or event records, certificates, verification records, uploaded files, messages, and administrative notes.
IAP uses this information for legitimate association administration, member services, compliance, communication, verification, record keeping, security, and service improvement.
How information is shared
Information may be shared with authorised administrators and contracted service providers only when necessary to deliver a requested service. Public verification exposes only limited active-membership fields. Directory publication is voluntary and can be disabled by the member.
Retention and security
IAP keeps records for as long as needed for membership administration, legal compliance, dispute handling, audit history, and verification integrity. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where legally available, restriction of processing, or a review of how your information is used. Requests can be sent to info@iap.international-association.org.
